Keeneland is a Thoroughbred race course has conducted live race meets in April and October since 1936. Keeneland is a combination Thoroughbred race course and sales company located in Kentucky's Bluegrass Region.

Keeneland Race Track
The track has a one and one-sixteenth mile dirt oval and a seven and one-half furlong turf oval. The track is considering the installation of a polytrack surface to replace the dirt.

Keeneland Race Course Schedule
The spring meet contains several preps for the Kentucky Derby (held the first Saturday in May), the most notable of which is the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes. The fall meet features several Breeders' Cup preps.
