Skybook Community Outreach

Skybook is strongly committed to community development through social, cultural and wellness outreach. Since 2003, we have organized yearly campaigns to raise money for Patronato Nacional de la Infancia (PANI), a Costa Rican orphanage for children at risk. The orphanage is a temporary residence for children until they can be placed with a family. With the money we raised, children were able to get much-needed mattresses, food, clothing, books, and toys. For information on how you can assist PANI, visit http://www.pani.go.cr/.

As part of our ongoing community outreach program, we have also worked with Fundación Vida which offers support for children with AIDS and children orphaned by AIDS, sent school supplies to 1st and 2nd grade children in Cahuita, Costa Rica, and offered assistance in emergency campaigns in the event of floods and other natural disasters.

Additionally, Skybook sponsors a long-distance running team, trained by Los Angeles Marathon winner Jose Luis Molina. In a state with under-funded sports where athletes receive limited corporate sponsorship, we find it vital to offer assistance to the growing pool of talented athletes.
